This newly expanded interpretive center houses a series of
state of the art displays dedicated to wind energy and development
of special technology to harness it. Learn about the Atlantic Wind
Test Site through interactive displays, models and visual presentations,
trace the history of wind energy and how it is being applied today, and it’s
importance as an energy source for the future.
Visitors can also view the variety of marine life in the aquarium housed inside
the interpretive center and take a stroll through time and explore the colorful
history of North Cape area, including storms, shipwrecks and ghost ships! Learn
the areas natural history and the various cultural groups that settled here.
