Cooler Day Plan 1
1. Arrive at the Tignish Heritage Inn after 2:00 p.m. Settle in and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. This would be a good time to have our staff help you with arrangements for dinner.
2. After a day of driving you may wish to take a walk next door to the beautiful St. Simon and St. Jude Church Catholic Church which was constructed in 1860 from locally made red brick. While there you can catch a glimpse of the magnificent Louis Mitchell tracker pipe organ that is still used in church services today. On Wednesday nights during the summer months organists from around the world perform recitals for all to enjoy.
3. Relax before dinner in our sitting room and browse through our selection of books. You may find many interesting stories about our Inn and the people who used to attend school here!
4. Dinner is offered at a variety of choices . . . Cousin's restaurant or the Wind and Reef Restaurant offer a full menu in their licensed dining rooms. Perhaps you would prefer pizza or take-out from one of our local cafes and eateries.
5. After your meal, enjoy a walk along one of our many secluded beaches in the area.
6. Once back at the Inn curl up with a good book or sit and chat with other guests and staff in our sitting room. Order a picnic lunch for tomorrow's outing.
