Thrumming at the Point

Thrumming is a centuries old knitting practice that creates warm articles of clothing for fishermen and lumberjacks.

Using 100% wool from a local woolen mill, you will knit a thrummed headband or start a pair of mittens. Kits provided that contain all items necessary to create a headband or mittens.

 Basic knitting skills are an asset.

Available: Thursday mornings and by appointment by calling 859-1252.

Optional lunch available at the West Point Lighthouse Restaurant (Seafood chowder with crackers & home made biscuit, tea or coffee and the dessert of the day for $10.95+tax)
