Offering blacksmithing and folk art experiences using scrap and recycled metals to create unique home accents and garden creations.
The blacksmithing experience involves making either a blue heron coat hook, plate holder or calendar hook using black iron. You will be shown how to use the forge to heat the iron pieces in order to shape them into whatever you choose to make.
The folk art experience involves using horseshoes and other pieces
of scrap metal to make either a frog or cat piece. You can then
paint your own creations for indoor use. Painting
for outdoor use is an additional $20, plus $20 for shipping (if
required).
