Preparations for the Tignish Bicentennial Oktoberfest showcase are well under way. The showcase will be held at the Tignish Legion from 1pm to 4pm and again from 7pm to 9pm. The event will take place on Thursday October 22nd.

The Bicentennial Committee is pleased to announce that Michael Pendergast will be entertaining for the event. Michael is a well known entertainer originally from the West Prince area. His humor and talent will help make the Bicentennial Oktoberfest showcase an enjoyable day for both young and old alike. So if you've been planning to see Michael preform but haven't been able to here's your chance. Drop in to the Legion to see what the Bicentennial Celebrations are all about and stay for a while to hear the Music Man perform.

Everyone is invited to attend the Oktoberfest. All the committees will be setting up booths so if you have any questions for any of them come to the Tignish Legion Thursday October 22nd. Anyone who would like more information can contact the Bicentennial office at 882-1999.
