The Tignish Bicentennial Celebrations are planning to hold an Oktoberfest Showcase. This showcase will provide an opportunity for all members of the community to become aware of the events of the Bicentennial year. The Oktoberfest will operate much like a trade show with each committee having their own booth to tell the community what they are planning. This is also an excellent chance to bring all the committees back together as we are quickly approaching the beginning of the Bicentennial year.

The Oktoberfest will be held on Thursday October 22nd from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and again that night from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Booths will be set up displaying merchandise, historical information and events. Food and refreshments will be available. The Showcase will be held at the Tignish Legion. The event is still in the planning stages and more information will be released as the event draws near.
